From Overachiever To High Performer

Ever felt like you have so much on your plate & it leaves you overly exhausted at the end of the day to the point of burnout?

Much of the world operates off of emotion just as we discussed in the 3 Achiever Mindsets blog post.

Everyone desires success, joy, & fulfillment in life but why is it that only few in the world truly experience it over an extended period of time?

It’s because only a small percent of the world decides to do the work to deeply discover themselves & master their actions to become a high performer.

In a 3 year course of time, everything drastically changed in my life.

Many refer to it as my metamorphosis like a butterfly. It was like evolving from a chrysalis. I had that awakening moment to realize I wanted to live more than ever before.

From that moment on, I burnt ship after ship diving deep into personal development, self-discovery, & self-mastery to become a high performer.

 

“Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence but we rather have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but is a habit.” –Aristotle.

 

What I have discovered is there is a major difference in taking actions from an emotional/negative psychological standpoint to that of practicing positive habitual actions becoming a high performer. This is the very reason more and more mental illness exists. Most people just don’t understand what is going on within them.

Joy, Fulfillment, Happiness these all are a positive emotional state of being. They are experienced through a totally different process of actions.

Until you understand the process of self-mastery or take the habitual actions of the process one can’t truly have these feelings for extended periods of time.

 

THIS WEEKS TRAINING

OVERACHIEVERS

Overachievers are high action takers who get results because of the massive persistent actions they take ignoring their emotions.

They have very defined characteristics:

  • Believe they will win with whatever it takes.
  • They take massive action & reach burnout easily due to exhaustion.
  • Don’t enjoy what they do. They simply take the action to get the result.
  • Overachievers try to be a jack of all trades & everything to everyone.
  • They lack an understanding of their self-worth.
  • These achievers transition from one project to the next with nothing but accomplishment on the mind.

Overachievers usually have psychological wounds & often operate due to psychological pressure.

These people seek control in their life & are competitive for success physically but internally what they do not understand is they are seeking the achievements for attention as therapy instead of actually doing the personal development & self-mastery work to correct their emotional & social stigmas.

Overachievers find validation of their self-worth through worldly achievements bringing acknowledgment from others & a sense of accomplishment to themselves giving them that “I’m worthy” feeling.

 HIGH PERFORMERS

High performers are wise action takers who get results because they understand themselves & take consistent actions to produce the emotional status they desire.

Higher Performer character traits consist of:

  • Believe in the ability to figure things out & make wise decisions to get to the goal with ease.
  • They take actions of knowledge utilizing the self-mastery process to create the emotions they desire.
  • Stay focused on what speaks to their heart & operate from obeying their soul trusting themselves fully.
  • High Performers have set healthy boundaries to keep them fully engaged in the present.
  • They understand their self-worth knowing they have a specific benefit & are extraordinary in 1 particular way having massive confidence.
  • These achievers understand the process of emotions & take the time to celebrate their wins to create even more Joy. Fulfillment, & Freedom in their life.

High performers are exquisite beings who make time for doing the deep internal work on themselves gaining knowledge & take action to create wisdom. These achievers  seek a positive emotional state within to fulfill their soul taking actions that serve others. High performers understand themselves & how they operate knowing their self-worth without external validation.

 

High performers don’t take actions to change who they are. They take action to accept & BECOME more of who they have always been focusing on their strengths and building up their weaknesses to become strengths so that they can provide value to the world living out their purpose. – Danielle Phelps
